Welcome Dr. Vivekanand Kumar to join the Editorial Board

Dr. Vivekanand Kumar is an Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Sandip University, Madhubani, Bihar, India. He holds a Ph.D. in Mining Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi, an M.Tech in Fuel Engineering from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, and a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal.
His primary research focuses on Whole Body Vibration (WBV) and its impact on musculoskeletal health, particularly among dumper operators and heavy earthmoving machinery workers in opencast coal mines. He has published several research papers in reputed journals such as Safety and Health at Work, International Journal of Occupational Safety and Ergonomics, Journal of Vibration and Control, and International Journal of Coal Geology. His recent works also explore vibration control in smart composite materials for aerospace and automotive applications.
In addition to his teaching and research contributions, Dr. Kumar has served as a peer reviewer for journals including Advances in Space Research and Aerosol Science and Engineering. His academic and research career reflects a strong commitment to occupational health, vibration control, and sustainable mining practices.
He joined the editorial board of Climate-Adaptive Materials Engineering on September 14, 2025, as an editorial member.
