Zhuoran (Newt) Tan is a Ph.D. researcher in Computing Science at the University of Glasgow, focusing on cyber defense, supply chain security, AI security, and temporal graph learning. He holds an MSc in Information Security from Royal Holloway, University of London, and a BEng in Cyber Security from the People’s Public Security University of China. His current work explores securing modern AI and software supply chains through graph-based analysis and threat detection. He has industry experience in AI/ML security, anomaly detection, and graph-based threat intelligence, and has served as a reviewer and program committee member for leading conferences.

He joined the editorial board of Transnational Supply Chain Research on August 24, 2025, as an young editorial board member.
