I studied computer science, systems engineering, civil protection and crisis management, education and management. My main professional interests include civil protection and crisis management. I teach these areas at CEVRO University in Prague and regularly publish in various journals and conferences. I also engage in practical education of the population with regard to preparedness for handling emergency situations. I am an official of the volunteer firefighters and in this position I also participate in the education of stakeholders in crisis management.
