Dr. Deepak Rawtani Chartered Engineer, has wide range of experience of conducting research in private as well as Govt. Organizations. He is an outstanding researcher. He has a total 21 years’ experience mostly in the field of molecular medicine, discovery biology and nanobiotechnology at various research organizations. He served in various capacities at different research organizations such as Industrial Toxicology Research Centre; Lucknow, USV Limited; Mumbai and Torrent Research Centre; Gandhinagar. His research is focused on forensic nanobiotechnology with special emphasis to DNA‐nanoparticle interaction and functionalization of halloysite nanotubes for various application such as enzyme immobilization, drug delivery, environmental remediation. Dr. Rawtani has published more than 120 papers as well as 7 books in the area of nanotechnology and environmental science with Interna journal of international repute and publishers.  He has also featured among 2% of Researchers of the world published by Stanford University for the year 2021, 2022, 2023 & 2024. Besides being a researcher, Dr. Rawtani is also a NABL empanelled Technical Assessor (ISO/IEC 17025) with Quality Council of India (QCI).

He joined the editorial board of Synthetic Ecological Engineering on October 27, 2025, as an editorial member.
