Dr. Xie Xiuzhen has been focusing on the development and research of porous nanomaterials, functionalized materials, surface treatment, crystal materials, and solid waste treatment in recent years. Currently, I am in charge of one project funded by the Education Department of Fujian Province and one enterprise industry-university-research cooperation project. I have published seven SCI-indexed papers in domestic and international journals as the first author or corresponding author, and have been granted three invention patents, two of which I am the first contributor. The courses taught include General Chemistry, Inorganic Analytical Chemistry and Experiment, Organic Chemistry and Experiment, Physical Chemistry Experiment, Instrumental Analysis, etc.

She joined the editorial board of Climate-Adaptive Materials Engineering on August 25, 2025, as an editorial member.
